PRESENTATION
The department “woodwork and complex geometry” is composed of woodworkers, carpenters and cabinetmakers. Each in their specific specialty builds, installs and prepares the coating (all type of finishing) of interior fittings and decks.
The department carries out any kind of wood work or modeling which require a perfect control of complex geometry.

The particularity of the department lies its ability to produce “modular conception and construction”. Parts are constructed in the workshop and all are fitted together during a final phase. This process permits:
- Assembly sequencing delay,
- A better load control,
- Less co-activity between all the teams,
- The use of all types of building materials, whatever the final form,
- A less than 5 mm gap at the time of assembly,
- Fully equipped and cabled modules before the assembly (Plug & Play),
- Acoustically insulated (silent blocks), thermal insulation and  reduction of twangs,
- Air ventilation between the module and the ships’ structure,
- Work conditions and a 30% time gain.
