Custom Design Construction
A LITTLE BIT OF HISTORY

Since the creation of his first workshop in Marseille in 1991, and its subsequent move of the shipyard in La Ciotat in 2001, Sébastien Grall, President of the yard, has continually extended the limits of the yards technological capabilities.
His vision has culminated in the creation of a one-stop company where all the various stages of construction from naval architecture to production have been grouped under one roof.

The H2X shipyard performs refits and new construction of single and multi-hull motoryachts and sailing yachts. It employs 45 craftsmen including carpenters, mechanics, engineers, project managers, composite and machine shop technicians, all working within 10,000 sq meter facility based in one of the biggest yards on the Riviera coast.

H2X is a subsidiary of Ix-Marine, a division of the iX-Core maritime group. iX-Core employs over 980 people and continuously strives to develop new technologies for each of its subsidiaries.

H2X STRATEGY FOR 2010: THE RECOVERY OF THE COMPANY

Under the current economic situation and the evolution of its clients’ requests, H2X has developed a new strategy which can be summarized as follows:

- News products with competitive prices; thanks to our integrated know-how, our innovative techniques and the development of foreign partnerships. (The 95’ Blue Coast is the perfect illustration of this new direction:  a semi-custom luxury ship, ecological and innovative, with a very competitive price.)

- A Research & Development programme; with the will to strengthen the shipyard’s innovation policy.  In 2010 we will carry eco-designed boats with the possibility to use biomaterials.

- The continuing commitment to engage in: construction and refit projects.

- The development of consolidated partnerships and renewed networking.
